The power supply is perfect, there are two switches with which you can select the output of 3.3v or 5v. in input the board can be powered with miniusb connector or with 7v-12v plug. there is a led to mark if the board is properly powered. There are various outputs that interface directly with the breadboard or can be used with wires and DuPont. I checked the outputs with a voltmeter and are perfect.
